Kari Matchett is a Canadian actor, is best known for her roles in films like 'Men with Brooms', 'The Tree of Life' and 'Apartment Hunting.' She was born and was raised in Spalding in Saskatchewan before moving to Alberta in Canada which is where she finished the high school. As a teenager, she developed interest in acting. To further develop her skills in acting, she enrolled at the 'National Theatre Academy,' in Montreal after which she attended the 'Moscow Theatre School. Her television debut in 1996 performing a role of support in the Canadian television series called 'The Rez. At the same time, in the same year, she appeared in shows such as "Forever Knight," and "Ready or not. The actress also made her film debut during the 1990s' final years with the film titled "Papertrail," later appearing in films such as "Men With Brooms" as well as Cypher. Additionally, she was in supporting roles in series' like "A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and Blue Murder. In spite of film roles throughout the decade of 2000, her film appearances were less than her television roles.
